Potosi, Bolivia, cob 1/2 real, (1652) transitional, motto as P-LV-SV / LT-R-A (McLean Type IId), rare, ex-Ugaz. S-P37; KM-13; Cal-578. 0.83 gram. Bold VF example of this rare type with full pillars and clear motto between, nearly complete (off-center) cross, struck on a crude planchet that's underweight for a 1/2 real. Pedigreed to the Jorge Ugaz collection.
